Last Updated: February 4, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between Schenk Technology ApS ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Denmark, and you or the entity you represent ("Customer," "you," or "your") governing access to and use of the Reflekt platform, SDKs, APIs, and website (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

1. The Service

Reflekt provides tools and infrastructure for collecting feedback, surveys, forms, and other user insights across applications and digital products.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

We may update, improve, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be released as beta or experimental and may change or be removed without notice.

2. Accounts and Access

Registration

Accounts are created using supported OAuth providers such as Google or GitHub. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any API keys issued to you. All activity occurring under your account or API keys is your responsibility. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Age Requirement

Customer accounts may only be created by individuals aged 18 or older.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You acknowledge that you act as the Data Controller for data collected from your end-users through Reflekt. You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws.
  • Obtain any required user consent before collecting data.
  • Provide an appropriate privacy policy in your applications.
  • Avoid collecting sensitive personal data unless legally permitted.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.

You may not use the Service to:

  • Conduct illegal or deceptive activities.
  • Send spam or abusive surveys.
  • Collect data for fraud or phishing.
  • Attempt to disrupt or abuse the Service.
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the platform to build a competing hosted service.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

4. SDK License

Reflekt SDKs are provided under the MIT License unless otherwise stated. Use, modification, and redistribution of the SDK are governed by that license. However, access to Reflekt's hosted infrastructure, APIs, and dashboard requires a valid account and remains subject to these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including infrastructure, software, branding, and platform technology.

You retain ownership of data collected from your end-users ("Customer Data"). You grant us permission to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve system performance and features. If you provide product feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis, typically monthly or annually, and automatically renew unless canceled.
  • Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms.
  • Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
  • You may cancel subscriptions at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Data Processing and Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Where we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies. Customers may request a copy of the DPA.

Customers may export their data where supported by the Service. Upon account deletion or termination, Customer Data will be removed from active systems within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, except where retention is legally required or necessary for backups.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated.
  • Fees remain unpaid.
  • Service use poses risks to the platform or other users.
  • Required by law.

After termination, access to the Service ends. Data may remain available for a short grace period to allow export where technically feasible.

9. Service Availability

The Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime unless otherwise agreed in writing. Temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, updates, or infrastructure issues.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schenk Technology ApS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

Our total liability for claims related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of:

  • Amounts paid by you during the previous 12 months.
